I’m very grateful to still be walking, albeit at a much slower pace and for short distances. Stairs are a very slow slog - but not impossible. After Covid, which brought on COPD, then getting pneumonia two years later after a surgical procedure, which then resulted in a bump up to emphysema, I am grateful for all things I CAN do. Grateful that I don’t need oxygen yet (hopefully never). I think it’s so important to keep an “attitude of gratitude” because always, always things can go downhill and we’ll wish we still had what we have today.

Well, this is quite lovely. And a nice reminder to be grateful for those "little" things that we are able to do, usually without even thinking about it. Thank you.
