Queens girl. Yes to squeaky wheel. My mom was in a major insurance company for many years in customer service and she was known as Miss Sunshine and not sarcastically. I don’t know how she did it. Consummate New Yorkers here. I find the best way is to lead with what you expect but not phrased as a demand “our package was not delivered to the right place. Please let me know what your company plans to do for our inconvenience “. I do “your company “ so as not to personalize it. Often like at a hotel I offer a specific thing we want as if it’s matter of fact. As if of course they want to make things right. Sorry about the water cooler chaos!
